Those who know and love the band "Modern Talking" (Divor Hadish) must be updated on the condition of the band's lead singer, Thomas Anders, because he appeared in Israel for the fourth time only two years ago - but who among you knows what happened to his bandmate, Dieter Bohlen?
It turns out that the German producer, composer and songwriter is celebrating his 70th birthday today (February 7) and age - so it turns out - is doing him a favor.
He decided to celebrate his birthday party with a special performance and at the same time he is organizing a secret wedding with his partner of 18 years, 39-year-old Karina Waltz.
Dieter Bohlen rose to fame as a member of the pop duo Modern Talking in the 1980s, responsible for hits such as "Brother Louie", "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" and "Cheri, Cheri Lady". He also produced hits for German artists and many internationals.
Like other past stars, he was also chosen to judge in the reality shows Deutschland sucht den Superstar (the German version of "American Idol") and Das Supertalent (the German version of "The X Factor").
He also wrote songs for some of the winners, many of which reached number one on the charts in Germany.
"Modern Talking" was a resounding success in its time, selling around one hundred million albums worldwide and becoming the most successful German band in history.
In 1987, after the dissolution of the band, Bohlen founded the band Blue System which released 13 albums and operated between 1987-1997.
The band included the quartet of "Modern Talking" backing singers.
In 98 "Modern Talking" reunited but broke up again in 2003.

Bolhan celebrated his 70th birthday not in Tettensen near Hamburg, where he lives with his family, but - and this is completely uncharacteristic of him - in Berlin, with a concert and a big party.
"Every birthday is a horror for me. People call or text all day and expect responses. I'm actually on the phone all day. I don't feel like celebrating like this this year," he says in an exclusive interview with BILD, "My concert organizer found a solution, just not to be at home : We do a birthday performance and then a small party and everyone is happy."

Karina Waltz (39) has been the woman by Dieter's side for 18 years and it seems that their love is stronger than ever.
When she sits next to him in an interview, it's easy to see how important her opinion is to him.
To the question of whether he feels more comfortable with her by his side, he replied: "It's just like I'm going to ask you, do you like to breathe? I'm probably the only celebrity who gets into the car at two in the morning when the show ends, drives from Cologne to Totensen and arrives completely exhausted at six in the morning. The couple spent the winter vacation with their shared children Maximilian (10) and Amelie (12) in the Maldives.
Karina said: "The birthday doesn't play a role in our daily life. We celebrate it and move on. We also don't give ourselves anything material. If I want something, I buy it - and Dieter does the same."
Dieter added: "We go on trips and spend time together as a family. We like to fly and discover the world. I like my Karinchen best when she wears shorts and a t-shirt on vacation and has no make-up on. She is beautiful inside and out. Karina is a warm-hearted and extremely kind person ".

When they met at a club in Majorca, Karina was only 21 and Dieter 52, "But she was much more mature than other women her age," Dieter said, "You can trust her, even for small things. If I tell Karina we'll meet the day after tomorrow in Alaska at 1:40 p.m., Karina will be there half an hour before time. Me too, of course."
He added: "Karina and I are going to get married. There is a date set from our first day together. I told her a specific year and if we are still together by then, we will get married. The invitations haven't been printed yet, but that date will come soon."
Karina replied: "But you have to offer me again, a real offer, so that I can marry you."
Dieter said: "I'm crazy when it comes to marriage and I definitely don't want to ruin another marriage. I'm going to be married for the third time and this time it has to last for the rest of my life, but I'm absolutely sure about Karina. The world will fall apart if we're not together anymore."
