The iDigital chain announced today (Tuesday) a new and significant move for Macbook users in Israel, in which the chain's customers will be able to go to one of the chain's 26 branches, return their old Mac, receive up to NIS 2,700 in a trade-in deal and upgrade to one of the new MacBook models.
The trade-in deal includes the range of new Macbook Air and Macbook Pro models.
For example - customers who return a 13-inch Macbook Air M1 from 2020 and upgrade to a new 13-inch Macbook Air M2 - will pay only NIS 4,499 (instead of the full price of NIS 5,599), which means a refund of NIS 1,100.
The network also announced that it will be possible to spread the charge for the new computer into up to 24 payments.

Moshe Shutzberg, VP of Sales at Aegidital: "As part of the chain's strategy to make Apple products more accessible in Israel and at the beginning of the new year, we are leading a significant move that will allow our customers to enjoy the most affordable price for the range of new MacBook computers."
iPhone price update
At the same time, Apple announced yesterday a NIS 200 reduction in the prices of all devices from its iPhone series - after taking exactly the same step last week, when this is apparently due to direct competition with Samsung, which recently launched its successful Galaxy S24 series.

The networks pointed out that this is an unprecedented move on Apple's part, since not only is this an aggressive price reduction by the giant company's standards, but it is being carried out in the first quarter after the launch of the new iPhone, which has always been the strongest month for the brand's sales in Israel.
