But this time, the “savant”, psychiatrist and aviator, will pilot a flying machine powered by hydrogen: Climate Impulse.

“A device powered by the energy of the sun was an important symbol, with clean and almost perpetual energy, but aviation above all needs solutions that allow many people to be transported over long journeys.
And hydrogen is more likely the future of carbon-free aviation,” he explains.
As proof, all the elite of aeronautics – Airbus, Daher, Capgemini and ArianeGroup – support this new project… “while they looked down on us for Solar impulse”, he recalls, mischievously.
