It will be a renewed way of working on board the new generation of Nissan Interstar, which the Japanese company has just unveiled.

The largest in the Nissan commercial vehicle range is now even more versatile and innovative, with a 100% electric engine (or diesel for the European market) and solutions designed to meet the various needs of customers.

The new Nissan Interstar is designed to guarantee maximum efficiency, class-leading load capacity and driver comfort.

The design is conceived for practicality and reliability, with a wide range of standard customizations and the standard Nissan warranty of 5 years or 160,000 kilometers, or 8 years or 160,000 kilometers for the battery of the electric version.

In terms of electric motorization, the new Nissan Interstar-e is available with an 87 kWh battery which guarantees a maximum range of over 460 kilometers and is designed for those who take long journeys and carry out intense activity.

With fast direct current charging it is possible to charge up to 252 km in 30 minutes.

The vehicle is also available with a 40 kWh battery, which offers a range of approximately 200 km, suitable for those who travel shorter distances throughout the day.

With alternating current charging, you can go from 10 to 100% battery charge in less than 4 hours.

"The new Nissan Interstar - declared Nicolas Tschann, light commercial vehicle director Nissan Europe - is the ideal partner for everyday heroes.

With an electric version, greater loading capacity and a wide range of customisations, the new Interstar is able to offer further impetus to the activities of small and medium-sized businesses". The vehicle offers a 100 mm longer loading area at which is accessed more easily thanks to a 40 mm wider side door. The payload is equal to 1.6 tonnes for the electric version and almost 2 tonnes for the diesel versions, with a maximum towing capacity of 2,500 kg for both engines.

The interior is also new, with heated seats, new covers and a heated windscreen.

Maneuverability is improved, with a turning circle reduced by 1.5 meters compared to previous versions.
