Unlike a hold over the long term, like that of Gabriel Matzneff over Vanessa Springora that the latter was able to dissect in “Le Consentement” or as revealed by the “relationship” maintained for several years by the director Benoît Jacquot with a young adolescent Judith Godrèche, the accusations which continue to be documented against the psychoanalyst Gérard Miller tell of another way of abusing women.
Last week, ELLE magazine published a first salvo of incriminating stories against the cathodic therapist, who worked every week at Drucker and Ruquier before joining the France insoumise media outlet.
In a new article published online this Thursday morning, the journalists affirm that these first testimonies, including that of the screenwriter Muriel Cousin, ex-wife of the comedian Stéphane Guillon, pushed 41 women to contact them.
Among them, 18 denounce acts of rape or sexual assault and some are preparing to file a complaint.
In the meantime, the Mediapart site met other accusers.
Very young women
Muriel Cousin was 23 years old when she was touched during a hypnosis session in 1990. The women who testified to Mediapart were between 16 and 21 years old at the time of the events.
The new article in ELLE magazine tells how the mother of 14-year-old Léa, approached by Miller while her class was attending the recording of “We tried everything”, Laurent Ruquier's show, found the number of the firm of the therapist and called him to express his anger.
The others were 17, 19, 20 years old at the time of the events they relate.
A common approach that resembles an operating procedure
Charlotte, Elodie, Muriel, Mathilda, Ariane… A large number of women who are breaking the silence today say they were approached by Gérard Miller while they were attending the recording of a show.
A lighting technician who worked on both the filming of “Vivement Dimanche” and “On a tout très très” describes a man who “went shopping” (sic) and who, systematically, went to chat with the “young girls ".
He invited them to his home, in his private mansion near the Place de la Nation in Paris, took them into a room “with Japanese decoration” with two parrots in a cage, or into a room upstairs, carried out a session sometimes hypnosis, which imprisoned young girls in their bodies.
The sets do not seem to have been her only playground since three babysitters of her children, florists, two saleswomen, contacted ELLE to denounce her past actions.

A lack of restraint
Some of Gérard Miller's alleged victims claim that he acted at home while his children were present.
Notably Romane, 19 years old in 2003, who told the weekly how in the middle of a hypnosis session, while he was preparing to attack her, he “leaves from time to time to go see what his son is doing in the next room.”
Or Narjes, who insisted on keeping her real first name, who denounced a rape in 1993 at Club Med in Hammamet, when she was 15 years old and during the holidays she had formed a romantic relationship with Miller's stepson .
“When you wake up, you won't remember anything,” she remembers hearing him say after being raped.
Recent facts
In a press release responding to the first article in the women's magazine, Gérard Miller, now 75 years old, highlighted the change in times to justify his past relationships with very young women.
In a long reaction posted Wednesday evening on my status as a “man of power”, an asymmetry which would now seem prohibitive to me”.
However, the confidences collected by Mediapart make the alleged facts run from 1995 to 2016. And in ELLE, Mathilda, who also testifies under her real first name, affirms that on February 18, 2020, then aged 20 and a psychology student, she was sexually assaulted by Miller at her home during a hypnosis session.
She is preparing to file a complaint for facts which are not prescribed.
Several complaints in preparation
In addition to Mathilda's approach, an online pre-complaint was completed by Charlotte for alleged acts in 2001, when she was only 15 years old.
Ariane was 17 that year, she denounces a forced fellatio and is preparing to file a complaint for rape.
On Tuesday, according to the investigative site, another woman reported to the Paris prosecutor's office that she wanted to file a complaint against her former psychoanalysis professor for facts dating back to 1995. She was 21 years old.
