Highlights: Laurent de Gourcuff, founder of Paris Society, was found guilty this Thursday of active corruption and receipt of favoritism. He did not appear at the Paris criminal court this Thursday, February 7, to hear the judgment. The 11th criminal chamber went beyond the requisitions, sentencing his client to two years of suspended imprisonment and a fine of 150,000 euros for active corruption. The acts of influence peddling were thus reclassified – and receiving of favorites were also reclassified.

Laurent de Gourcuff did not appear at the Paris criminal court this Thursday, February 7, to hear the judgment.

Once the decision was rendered, Messrs Léon del Forno and Marie Geoffroy who, with Me Romain Boulet, advise the president and founder of Paris Society (formerly Noctis), a Parisian events heavyweight, announced their decision to immediately appeal.
