"I have discussed with Stellantis, as is right, several times in these months of government. I met Tavares twice, once in Rome, and on that occasion he assured the objective of reaching a production level in Italy of one million of vehicles. He said it publicly. Then I also met him in France, when they inaugurated the first gigafactory. I expect it to be built in our country soon too."
The Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, said this during a press point in Brussels.
Likewise, the minister added, "I met John Elkann three times."
Urso, 'from 2025 we will move car incentives to production'
"The extraordinary plan to support the purchase of cars will be implemented shortly, it provides for almost a billion and is now being discussed with the other ministers.
From next year the incentives will no longer be for consumption but for production to encourage those who want to produce in our Country both cars and components".
