Presumed guardian of a treasure worth 700,000 euros, Toufik has said nothing and still refuses to speak out a year after the start of this affair.
At the age of 40, this criminal appeared on Thursday before the investigating chamber of Versailles (Yvelines), to request his release.
Unsurprisingly, this man, whose criminal record already includes eighteen convictions, was kept behind bars.
The forty-year-old was indicted on January 30, 2023 in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), for “drug trafficking, possession of weapons and criminal conspiracy”.
Unemployed, he obtained a CAP in plumbing, and even worked as a car dealer before becoming unemployed.
The attorney general requested that he be kept behind bars.
The dog marks the door on the fifth floor
On January 26, 2023, the police officers at the police station collected information: cannabis trafficking was allegedly organized at 23, rue du Haut de la Noue, in the Sablière district, in Villeneuve-la-Garenne.
At the beginning of the afternoon, the police went to the site and noticed that on the fifth floor, a surveillance camera was facing the street.
Accompanied by a drug dog, they follow the cable to a tenant's apartment.
They enter her house and conduct a search.
In a room, officials found 310 g of grass and cannabis resin, two kilos of cocaine, powder used as a cutting agent and a 6.62 caliber pistol.
While inspecting the washing machine, they found 55,000 euros in cash hidden in the drum.
Investigators note that the occupant of the premises is monitoring the street and the entrance to the building with two cameras and two surveillance screens.

By inspecting the balcony, the police realized that the window was open and communicated with the adjoining accommodation.
Upon entering this apartment, they flush out the suspect hiding under the sofa.
They also found more than 9 kg of “zip” there, as well as a revolver, two automatic pistols and ammunition.
A debt of 200,000 euros
The trafficker is placed in police custody at the police station.
During his hearings, the forty-year-old explains that he was hired by a mysterious sponsor to be the nurse of drugs and weapons.
He adds that he is paid 2,000 euros per month and agreed to do this work because he has to pay off a debt of 200,000 euros.
At the end of June, he was heard on the merits by the investigating judge, but he did not answer any questions.
Invited to speak on Thursday February 8 in the morning before the magistrates of the Court of Appeal, Toufik declined the invitation.
So far, no accomplices have been arrested in this case.
