Isotta Fraschini is ready for the WEC challenge for the 2024 season, where it will compete with the Tipo 6 LMh Competizione in the hypercar category, and has chosen to focus on young but highly prospective drivers, as well as on a veteran.
Coming from Fernando Alonso's academy, Carl Wattana Bennet is of Thai and American nationality, is only 19 years old, and is currently engaged in the LMP2 class of the Asian Le Mans Series.
Antonio Serravalle, on the other hand, two years older, has already gained experience in the LMP3 championships, Indy Lights, F3 Americas Championship, and Indy Pro 2000 Championship.
Guiding his young colleagues on the track will be Jean-Karl Vernay, the 36-year-old French driver, who boasts several successes in different categories, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Porsche LMGTE am.
"I am very curious to see how this mix of youth and experience will work - declared Claudio Berro, head of motorsport at Isotta Fraschini Milano - in a very competitive championship like the FIA Wec".
