A quiet place: the first day
The series of horror films conceived by John Krasinski expands with a prequel, whose plot, as the name implies, precedes the events of the first two films.
According to the trailer, this time it is a work that is much less restrained but exciting and packed with action, and will star Lupita Nyong'o ("Black Panther", "Us"), Joseph Queen ("Stranger Things") and Djimon Hounsou ("Touch the Diamond") .
The film was directed by Michael Sarnoski, who made a name for himself with his debut film "Pig", which became one of the talking points of 2022. Krasinski, who wrote and directed the first two films (and also starred in the first one), is content this time with the credit of co-writing the story alongside Sarnoski.
"A Quiet Place 3", by the way, is expected to arrive in 2025.
"A Quiet Place: The First Day" will hit theaters on June 27, 2024.
