A Sunday jog that turns into a tragedy.
A 39-year-old man was killed by three rottweilers while jogging in the municipal forest of Manziana, near Rome, Corriere della Sera reports.
The victim's body was discovered around 8:30 a.m. with deep wounds to the face, neck and arms, specifies the Italian media.
Unfortunately, arriving too late on the scene, the emergency services were unable to come to the aid of Paolo Pasqualini who was already dead after trying to protect himself from the attack of the three dogs, according to two witnesses.
The first only heard the desperate cries of this supermarket employee, and the second, an animal breeder from the municipality, tried to help him before being attacked in turn by the rottweilers, without suffering any harm. injury.

When the first patrols arrived, the three dogs were still there but fled before being neutralized by veterinary staff using sedative bullets.
They were then taken to a kennel in the area, pending a decision on their fate.
Before the rottweilers were captured, the area had been evacuated and isolated by authorities, for fear the rabid dogs would attack other passersby.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the three dogs escaped from a house not far from the scene of the attack.
The owner, who could be accused of manslaughter, was questioned by the police.
Contacted by La Repubblica, he does not understand how his animals could have been outside his property, he who has never experienced any problems with his dogs before.
