The police's right to conduct a traffic stop is limited.
It is forbidden to look into the trunk.

Checks by police: Officers are not allowed to simply look into the trunk
In principle, the police can inspect cars and their drivers for road safety at any time.
The officers can also ask the driver to leave their vehicle in order to check ID cards, vehicle documents and the car itself (lights, tires, stickers).
Looking into the trunk is only permitted in certain situations.

Unless there is a judicial search warrant.
Even if there is “imminent danger,” officers are allowed to look into the trunk.
For example, if there is a suspicious smell of drugs in the vehicle.
