She was walking with another woman on the coast of Camiers when they found themselves in difficulty due to the tide.

Informed by witnesses, the emergency services managed to bring the two women back to the beach, where they were taken care of by the firefighters.
One of them was already in cardiorespiratory arrest and could not be revived.
