This is the second time in three months that an Indonesian football player has been struck by lightning.
Last November, a young player from Bojonegoro was struck by lightning during the Soeratin U-13 Cup.
Struck by lightning at the start of the match, the teenager managed to escape alive after twenty minutes of treatment despite suffering a cardiac arrest.
