A man was arrested during the evening of Monday near the Accor Hotel Arena in Paris (12th arrondissement) after having fired seventeen bullets at the emergency exit.
It is 8 p.m. on Boulevard de Bercy when this man presents himself in front of the VIP access to the establishment which is hosting a Laura Pausini concert but he has neither ticket nor invitation and he is turned away by security agents.
He then heads towards an emergency exit, located about a hundred meters from the entrance.
He pulls out a gun and opens fire numerous times at a glass door.
Fortunately no one is nearby.
“The security agents spoke with him to bring him back to his senses.
They managed to make him put down his weapon before controlling him,” specifies a source close to the case.
A police patrol arrived quickly and arrested the suspect before taking him to the police station.
The police seized the weapon, a 7.65 caliber Browning Walther PP semi-automatic pistol.
On site, forensic technicians found seventeen shell casings, two unimpacted bullets and the remains of warheads deformed by the impact.
17 impacts were noted on the glazing.
