This evening of March 23, 2018, while the police broke down the door of the family home, Marine Pequignot greeted them by shouting “Allah Akbar” three times.
She then knows that, earlier in the day, her boyfriend Radouane Lakdim, 25, was shot dead after causing death between Carcassonne (Aude) and the Super U of Trèbes.
Attacks for which seven people have been tried since January 22 before the Special Assize Court of Paris.
Five defendants, including her, face up to thirty years in prison for “criminal terrorist association”.
The one who today says she is “shocked” by her actions and sends “deep thoughts” to the victims and their families, did not have such thoughtfulness at the time of her custody.
“I was very in love with Lakdim and it was only him who mattered,” explains the young woman today, her brown hair loose over a beige denim jacket.
