Black as the base color for the frame, wheels, front mudguard and handlebar plate fairing, and matt metallic granite gray for the engine cover, offer an interesting color contrast with the play created by the matt and glossy surfaces .
In the special Highline version, the new CE 02 presents itself with a colorful appearance.
The gold anodized forks and the 'ribbon' design in combination with the Petrol color make the CE 02 innovative even when stationary.
The CE 02 can also be ridden by those who are new to the world of two wheels at the age of 16, thanks to a maximum power of 11 kW (15 HP).
In the 4 kW (5 HP) version limited to 45 km/h, the new CE 02 also meets the requirements of the AM license and can be driven in Italy, for example, from the age of 14 and by those who are possession of a car licence.
On the road performance front, the engine allows the new CE 02, in the 11 kW version, to accelerate quickly at traffic lights and offers a dynamic and fun driving experience.
With a maximum speed of 95 km/h, the vehicle is fast even on fast roads, as well as on the streets of the small Portuguese urban centers where we tested it.
The autonomy is over 90 km (for the 11 kW version according to Wmtc) and allows you to tackle even extra-urban journeys.
The weight is just 132 kg (11 kW version) or 119 kg (4 kW version) and the low seat height of just 750 mm benefits the handling characteristics.

For charging, the new BMW CE 02 is equipped as standard with an external charger with a charging power of 0.9 kW, which allows charging processes to be carried out at normal household sockets.
Charging is even faster with the rapid charger which delivers a power of 1.5 kW, available in the optional Highline equipment and as an original BMW Motorrad accessory (only for the 11 kW version).
