Heavy charges weigh on this official who should be tried by the Assize Court.
This police captain, aged 48, appeared this Tuesday before the Paris investigating chamber, to request his release.
He is today in prison, suspected of having, since 2016, taken advantage of his functions to make false documents, illegally consulted the file of wanted persons (FPR), that of the processing of criminal records (TAJ) and that of registrations.
He is also suspected of concealment of breach of trust and attempted extortion.
In total, the investigating judge indicted him on December 21 in Paris for fourteen offenses before he was imprisoned.
The magistrates of the Court of Appeal confirmed his continued detention, agreeing with the opinion of the Advocate General who considers that "the risk of a repetition of the facts cannot be ruled out to the extent that the actions of this man only ended on the day of his arrest.”
