Three years after the launch of the fifth generation of the Skoda Octavia, it receives a facelift that is not dramatic, but one that can actually help it a lot in its main market in Israel.

But many balked at the base 1,000 cc turbo version, with 110 hp, in cars of this size, and the 1,500 cc (150 hp) version was significantly more expensive.
So as part of the update, the 1,000 cc version was cancelled, and the 1,500 cc is offered in two versions: with 115 hp and again with 150 hp, both mild hybrids with a dual-clutch robotic box.
Skoda isn't releasing fuel consumption figures yet, so it will be interesting to see if the enlarged engine maintains the good figures of the smaller engine.
Poor if the performance has been upgraded.
The sporty RS version has also been strengthened and its 2,000 cc engine now produces 265 hp, 20 hp more than before. The regular 2,000 cc version continues and so do the diesel versions.
The one that has disappeared from the offer is the plug-in version.
