The new Suzuki GSX-8R, which inherits the racing character of the GSX-R, brings the sporting soul of the Japanese brand to dealerships.
The new and modern sports car from the Hamamatsu house is now also available in different colours.
The style of the GSX-8R is linked to Suzuki's sporting heritage, with the compact, aggressive and sharp design of the fairing and lines that close in a slim and minimal tail, conveying the potential of its performance while offering protection and comfort in daily use thanks to the aerodynamic study carried out through long test sessions in the wind tunnel.
The driving position and ergonomics have been chosen to have effective control in fast driving and optimal comfort in short journeys as well as in long-distance tourism, where the original accessories allow you to emphasize versatility with an even more protective screen, heated grips or with a set of integrated bags.
The engine is the one shared with the Sport Enduro Tourer V-Strom 800DE and with the Streetfigther GSX-8S, i.e. a high-performance 776 cc parallel twin-cylinder unit with 270° crank mechanism and four-valve distribution per cylinder in an 83 hp configuration 8,500 rpm of maximum power and 78 Nm at 6,800 rpm of maximum torque.
The steel frame, designed around the engine with a rigid and compact structure, brings the overall weight of the bike to 205 kg in running order with a full 14 liter tank, and is completed by an aluminum swingarm which determines a wheelbase of 1,465 mm.
The GSX-8R is already in dealerships in three liveries: Sydney Blue, Paris Black and New York Silver.
The price is set at 9,700.
