The young man has not given any sign of life for five days.
Erwan's family filed a complaint against the nightclub in Moncoutant-sur-Sèvre (Deux-Sèvres) where he spent the evening on Sunday, before disappearing, Le Courrier de l'Ouest reported on Thursday.
Relatives of the 18-year-old young man accuse the La Morinière nightclub of having shown “negligence” on the evening of the disappearance.

Arriving “very drunk” at this nightclub with friends, Erwan was kicked out due to his state of intoxication by a security agent of the establishment at 1:30 a.m., according to Ouest-France.
He left the scene alone and on foot and was last seen in the parking lot of the nightclub.
Investigation for “disturbing disappearance”
Worried about not having any news, his relatives alerted the emergency services and a call for witnesses was launched on Monday by the Deux-Sèvres gendarmerie.
An investigation into a “disturbing disappearance” was then opened by the Niort public prosecutor’s office.
Intense research has since been carried out to try to find the trace of the young man.
They continued on Thursday with a large-scale operation, mobilizing between 60 and 70 gendarmes, a helicopter, six divers and a sonar from the La Rochelle nautical brigade, according to BFMTV.
They are due to resume on Friday.
