There are also Italian 'engines' among the protagonists of the 'Identitalia, The Iconic Italian Brands' exhibition, inaugurated at Palazzo Piacentini, headquarters of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy and dedicated to some of the most important historical brands, which have done and they are making the history of the country.

In addition to the minister Adolfo Urso, the ceremony was attended by the president of Unioncamere, Andrea Prete, the president of the Historical Brands Association, Massimo Caputi and representatives of the brands exhibited.

The initiative, which was joined by over 100 companies for a total of 113 brands from all sectors, was created to celebrate the 140 years of the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, which in 2019 was enriched with the 'Special Register of Historical Trademarks of National Interest', containing the brands registered for more than fifty years and still active.

The aim of the exhibition, curated by professors Carlo Martino and Francesco Zurlo, professors of Design at the La Sapienza University of Rome and the Polytechnic of Milan, on display until 6 April in the main atrium of Palazzo Piacentini, is to enhance an industrial heritage , planning and material value for the country.

“This exhibition, with its deliberately evocative title - commented Adolfo Urso - has the great merit of celebrating the corporate brands that accompany, and have accompanied, the growth of our country.

We are deeply proud of the creative capacity of our productive fabric because the success of our entrepreneurs and the passion they put into their work are the flagship of the Italian system and the calling card of our Made in Italy in the world".

Among the Italian motoring brands represented at the exhibition, there are also Ducati, Ferrari, Fiat, Lancia, Maserati, Pirelli and Vespa.
