“Shame on her”, “despicable”, “you idiot”… A wave of outraged comments have flooded social networks since the broadcast, on Saturday January 27, of two videos published on the social networks Snapchat and X (formerly Twitter).
In these images, which have generated several million views, we see a group of five friends in an apartment in the 15th arrondissement of Paris “having fun” with a hamster.
A game that clearly resembles abuse.
The animal is first dipped in food, facts which appear in the first video, before the second shows one of the girls throwing the hamster out of the window of the apartment, from the 7th or 15th floor , depending on the version.
He did not survive his fall and was found dead on the ground.
Images of a young woman throwing a hamster out of a building window have been widely broadcast.
The #30millionsdamis Foundation has made a #PHAROS report and is filing a complaint.
She calls for no longer relaying this content.

The 30 Million Friends Foundation reported the facts on the Pharos platform, before filing a complaint.
A petition was also launched, collecting more than 40,000 signatures, according to the count recorded this Friday, January 16.
The text tells us that the animal was called Poliakov.
“On the stories we see
the young woman laughs at her act,” the petition writer takes offense.
She in turn files a complaint for harassment on the networks
The day after the publication of the two videos, the police heard the young girl accused of having thrown the hamster for “serious abuse and act of cruelty towards a domestic animal”.
Faced with the police, she declared that she and her family had been the victim of harassment since the images were broadcast.
The Paris public prosecutor's office, having been informed of the facts, opened two separate procedures.
One for harassment and death threats, the other for abuse and acts of cruelty towards an animal.
After a few hours in police custody, the young girl was summoned again, this time for Tuesday February 20, "pending the hearings of all the protagonists present at the material time" according to a person close to the case.
