Firefighters intervened around 6 a.m. this Saturday for an accident followed by a vehicle fire on the A4 motorway, in the Paris-Strasbourg direction.

On their arrival near Marange-Silvange (Moselle), around fifteen kilometers from Metz, the firefighters discovered an damaged vehicle, positioned on the roof and completely engulfed in flames.

Two young adults managed to get out of the vehicle, according to the Républicain Lorrain.

They were seriously injured but conscious and were taken to hospital.

On the other hand, two men aged 23 and 25 remained trapped in their cabin in the burning vehicle and were declared dead, firefighters told AFP, confirming information from Républicain Lorrain.

The four boys are said to be from the Thionville basin and the Fensch valley.
