Faced with the upcoming release of this violent man, parliamentarians from La France Insoumise (LFI) called in a press release to protect a woman “in danger of death” because of multiple “threats” from “her ex-companion”.

“We thank the Ministry of the Interior (…), the prefects (…) and “the LFI and PS deputies who actively supported us,” the young woman reacted on Instagram this Saturday evening.

“My executioner comes out tomorrow”

A rally was organized this Friday in front of the Ministry of Justice, in support of the young woman.

“My executioner comes out tomorrow.

I still don’t have a phone, serious danger,” was written on a sign, according to images published by Khadija on Instagram.

Another gathering was also to be organized on Monday February 12 on the Human Rights square in Paris.

Khadija, originally from Limousin, had filed a complaint against her ex-partner in April 2017. The trial was held in February 2020 without her because the summons had been sent to the wrong address, the one where she resided three years earlier with her ex-companion.

The latter was convicted for the violence committed against Khadija, but acquitted of rape charges.

This man was first sentenced to a year in prison in 2016 for trying to disfigure Khadija with a razor blade, Libération also reports.

When he left, the ex-companion was again violent, punching or kneeing him.

In March 2017, he suspended her from the top of a bridge by holding her legs, after threatening her with gang rape.
