The police currently have two different versions concerning the circumstances of the accident.

Two versions conflict on the causes of the accident

Municipal police officers claim that the driver of the motorcycle lost control of his vehicle before crashing into the right front door of their vehicle.

Witnesses and friends of the victim state that the police instead hit the motorcycle while cutting off its path.

The cameras cannot corroborate one version over the other.

In fact, the municipal video protection system would not have filmed the scene.

Furthermore, the police vehicle would not be equipped with an on-board camera, nor would the officers who were on board.

Investigators from the Saint-Denis police station are responsible for shedding light on this matter.
