The stars of "The Rebels"/Yair Dori
For the first time since the outbreak of the war, a major international show is expected to come to Israel, in the hope that nothing will go wrong: twenty years after they last appeared in Israel, the stars of "The Rebels" will return to the Holy Land this coming Passover.
It will happen on April 25, 2024, Passover, at Live Park Rishon LeZion.
The stars of the successful Argentinian youth telenovela (originally Rebelde Way) broke the box office when they arrived in Israel in 2004: Luisana Lofilato, Camila Bordoneva, Felipe Colombo and Nechamin Rojas appeared in front of 150,000 viewers during 17 performances at Menorah Hall.
Even then it happened during a sensitive security period, the days of the second intifada.
In general, the stars of the series are known as lovers of Israel, and have supported it over the years in the media and networks.
This time Benhamin Rojas, Felipe Colombo, Koko Maahio, Mikaela Vasquez, Francisco Bass, Hasmin Becker Varla, Pablo Heredia, Jorgena Molo, Diego Garcia, Diego Mesaglio and Belen Scalla are expected to arrive.
They will perform their biggest hits from the series on stage.
In addition, Piro Saez, who played Rocco in the series and serves as the show's artistic director and music producer, will arrive.
In the last decades Saz is a leading music creator and producer who works with many artists in Latin music and deals with music for TV productions and plays.
The show's choreographer is Huzpina Azkora, who was the original choreographer in the show 20 years ago as well.
The show is produced by Yair Dori, Bar Rimoni and Shuki Gor.
On behalf of the production, it was announced that they will invite evacuees from the Gaza Strip and the north to the show in order to give them respite even for a moment in these difficult days.
Ticket sales to the general public will begin today (Sunday) at 11:00.
Ticket prices will range from NIS 299 for the lawn, NIS 449 for the grandstand and NIS 549 for the Golden Ring.
