An 82-year-old woman reported to the police that she had been raped at home on Saturday afternoon in La Penne-sur-Huveaune (Bouches-du-Rhône), according to information from Actu17 and La Provence.

Aged 35, the suspect was already convicted last January for trespassing.

He was taken into custody.

At 2 p.m. Saturday, the intruder reportedly entered a house in the city center.

The octogenarian, recently widowed according to his daughter, interviewed by La Provence, then watches television.

The man reportedly ordered her to give him jewelry and money.

But the burglary would have turned into rape.

Faced with the victim's refusal, the individual allegedly sexually assaulted him before fleeing.

According to the Marseille prosecutor's office, the victim mentioned "acts of rape".

The suspect arrested less than 1 km from the villa
