It was after 2 a.m. on May 18, 2020 when help reached the mobile home placed on the hillside in Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, a small village in Isère.
Kelly L., the young woman who made the desperate call to the firefighters, greets them in shock, wearing only panties and covered in blood.
“Val, my love!
I didn’t do it on purpose,” she shouted, crying on the phone, explaining that she had stabbed her partner during an argument.
Valentin then lies on the ground in critical condition.
The rescuers' efforts were in vain: it was impossible to restart his heart, pierced by the blade of a steak knife.
