The police were quick to geolocate the cell phones of the suspect and the victim and found the vehicle parked in a street in this town in the Lyon metropolitan area.
On board were the bodies of the victim and the suspect, both showing signs of gunshot wounds to the head.
Seriously injured, the man was holding a semi-automatic handgun, according to the police source.
The woman was declared dead on the spot by Samu doctors.
An investigation was opened for assassination.
