The Fall of Michael J. Fox/Splash

A few months ago, the actor was recorded stumbling on stage at an event for the fan community of the "Back to the Future" series, in which he starred.

"I am in severe pain," the actor admitted to those present.

At Fox's side, his colleagues Christopher Lloyd, 84, and Tom Wilson, 64, were present at the event dedicated to the iconic 1985 MDB classic in which all three starred. When Fox approached the couch that was on stage, the star caught his leg and fell. Fortunately, Fox landed on the couch soft, was able to recover quickly and dealt with the incident with humor.

Fox began his acting career as a child in Canada, and became famous in the 1980s in the series "Family Ties" as Alex Keaton, the tie-dyed and conservative son of a liberal family. In 1985, Fox became a superstar after participating in the film " Back to the Future", and also starred in both pawnshops and in films such as "Young Wolf", "The Secret of My Success", "Dr. Hollywood", "The President is in Love", "The Invasion from Mars" and others.

Besides his lead roles in "Family Ties" and "Spin City", in 2013 Fox starred in the comedy "Michael" which was loosely based on his life, but was canceled after one season.

He was also a guest in the series "Scrubs", "Boston Legal", "Rescue", "Designated Survivor", "Calm Down", "The Good Wife" and "The Best for Battle".

Throughout his career, Fox won five Emmy Awards - three for "Family Ties", one for "Spin City" and one for "Saved" - and was nominated for 12 more.
