A sequence which annoyed Place Beauvau.
Gérald Darmanin requested an administrative report on Tuesday the day after the broadcast on X of a video in which the president of the RN Jordan Bardella receives a medal from the hands of the commander of a CRS company, we learned from the ministry inside.
Jordan Bardella, head of the National Rally (RN) list for the European elections, visited the CRS-6 police officers on Monday, at their place of cantonment in Saint-Laurent-du-Var (Alpes-Maritimes), as part of of a campaign trip.

In the video, shared on his X account by the RN deputy for Alpes-Maritimes Bryan Masson, the president of the RN receives the company medal from the hands of the commander of the CRS-6, Jean-Marc Mortes.
“It’s an honor,” thanks Jordan Bardella, adding “collect” all the “police service” medals.

Long live the CRS6 and long live the #AlpesMaritimes!

The sequence obviously did not please the Minister of the Interior.
The latter “strictly reminded the prefects of the rules which apply to all parliamentarians: parliamentarians can visit places of deprivation of liberty (
the place visited by Jordan Bardella was not one
) as the law authorizes, but without press and without communication.
This was not the case here,” said those around him.
“A report has been requested”
“There was clearly an error of assessment when accepting this visit” by the prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes, Hugues Moutouh.
“This is why a report was requested,” the same source added, confirming information from RMC.
“A medal, which tells the story of the company, offered to passing personalities.
Nothing more, nothing less.
The left-wing hysterics who are hysterical about this affair obviously have a problem with the police,” Bryan Masson commented on Tuesday on X.
