Technology at the service of a new approach to performance, for the new Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance which takes to the field to change the rules of the game.
The number that matters is 680, i.e. the one referring to the HP made available by the engine made up of the 2.0-litre engine at the front and the electric motor on the rear axle, all for a supercar driving experience.

The electric powertrain and 400-volt high-performance battery are developed by AMG and just like in Formula 1 the battery has been specifically designed for rapid power delivery and release, with innovative direct cell cooling.
The electric range of 13 kilometers allows for a useful range of action for city use or residential areas.
The combined power of the system, however, is 500 kW.
The new model from Affalterbach, which is launched simultaneously in sedan and station wagon versions, features, for the first time in a C 63, the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system, used to transfer the drive power to the road.
There is also Drift mode and active rear-axle steering as standard.
If under the hood the Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance aims for excellence in terms of performance (however manageable even in everyday driving), the design is no different, thanks to the front apron and its more muscular proportions.
The sedan and estate models are both based on a modified AMG body.
The front end is 50 millimeters longer and the front fenders are wider which distinguishes it from the C-Class. In terms of length, the sedan and station wagon measure 83 millimeters longer.
In width, the increase is 76 millimeters.
All the sportiness that befits the 'racing' promises of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance is not lacking even inside the passenger compartment.
The protagonists are the AMG sports seats.
Exclusive colors and various nappa leather upholstery with AMG emblem embossed in the front headrests underline the sporty but also luxurious side.
The second generation AMG Performance seat, completely redesigned, is available as an option.
Should it then find itself on the track, the new arrival at Mercedes-AMG can also count on the intelligent distribution of the use of electric energy over a lap of the track, to optimize lap time with a targeted use of the power of the electric motor .
This track-based boost strategy is already stored for 30 known tracks.
It will gradually be extended to a total of 70 circuits via download.
Before setting off, the driver only needs to select the track on the central display, for example the German Hockenheimring, and then activate the boost strategy with a slider.
Then activate Race driving mode and you're ready to challenge the lap time.
On the price list, the Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance starts at 125,322 euros.
