The last stop of the tour to present and test the finalists of the international The Car of The Year 2024 award will be held in Courmayeur Mont Blanc, a few hours after the announcement of the winning car. After the events in Milan and Breuil-Cervinia, the seven cars chosen by the jury made up of 59 journalists from 22 European countries will be exhibited from 23 to 25 February in Courmayeur in the Chalet de L'Ange square.
They are the BMW 5 Series also in the electric i5 version, the Byd Seal, the Kia EV9, the Peugeot 3008 also in the E-3008 variant, the Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric, the Toyota C-HR and finally the Volvo EX30.
As already happened in Milan and Breuil-Cervinia, enthusiasts will have the opportunity to test the finalist cars on Saturday and Sunday by registering on the website https://www.auto.it/eventi/coty or directly at the desk in the center of the display of the cars.
The name of the model nominated Car of The Year 2024 will be revealed the following Monday, 26 February, during the live counting of the votes cast by nation which will take place at 8:00 am in the Palexpo' of Gineva on the occasion of the opening of the International Show dell'Auto, with live streaming on the website www.auto.it.
The Courmayeur Mont Blanc stop will also be the opportunity for a meeting to be held on the afternoon of February 24th at the Courmayeur Congress Center, on the theme 'The future of mobility and the transition towards electric'.
Speakers will include the president of the Valle d'Aosta Autonomous Region Renzo Testolin, the regional councilors Luigi Bertschy and Giulio Grosjacques, the mayor of Courmayeur Roberto Rota and the managing directors of some of the car manufacturers finalists for the award.
It will be an opportunity - we read in the organizers' press release - for debate on the delicate topic of mobility transition.
The meeting will be moderated by Andrea Brambilla, director of Auto magazine (one of the 9 publications that organize the award in rotation) and by Alberto Sabbatini, manager of the Auto test center and vice president of the jury of The Car of The Year.
