The fully electric powertrain is now capable of delivering 240 kW of power, a 40% increase compared to the e-Boost version. Torque has also increased to an impressive 545 Nm, 75% more than any other Born version. This means that from standstill the Cupra born VZ can reach 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.

The first fully electric model of the Catalan brand also takes to the field in its most 'aggressive' version and the acronym - the latest addition to the brand's range and the most powerful in the range - represents the acronym for Velo in Spanish,.


When tested at the accelerator, the Cupra Born VZ is able to deliver 240 kW of power and 545 Nm of torque which are transmitted to the road thanks to the optimized suspension geometry, steering with a sporty setting and improved braking performance.

The fully electric powertrain is now capable of delivering 240 kW of power, a 40% increase compared to the e-Boost version.

This means that from standstill the Cupra Born VZ can reach 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, one second faster than the e-Boost version.


The top speed has also increased and is now limited to 200 km/h, 40 km/h more than the e-Boost version.


Improvements have also been made to the Born VZ chassis, which works in combination with the new sports suspension with DCC which aims for an immediate steering response, and the performance of the braking system, in addition to a robust rear brake.

All to create a superior dynamic performance.


Cupra Born VZ will be introduced in the Italian market in the third quarter of 2024.
