Ferrari reinforces its line-up in the WEC hypercar class for the 2024 season with a third 499P - driven by Robert Kubica, Robert Shwartzman and Yifei Ye - and unveils the livery of car number 83 on the eve of the prologue, therefore before the two days of testing collectives that officially mark the return to the track of the cars for the world endurance championship.
The AF Corse hypercar takes up the iconic features of the 499P which triumphed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023, but with inverted colours, thanks to the predominance of yellow, enriched by red details.
It will therefore be possible to distinguish it from the other two Ferrari 499Ps quickly during the race phases.
The presence of a third car in the WEC competitions will allow it to respond between the curbs to increasingly important competition, as demonstrated by the arrival of new brands in the hypercar class for the 2024 season.
