This sector had already been the scene of a shooting in broad daylight at the beginning of February, recalls France Bleu Lozère.
There were no casualties then.
At the end of August, the young Fayed, 10 years old, was the victim of a stray bullet in another district of Nîmes - that of Pissevin, a hub of drug trafficking - even though he was not the target of this shooting .
Two days later, an 18-year-old man was also shot and killed in the same Pissevin district, at a deal point.
Another man was also shot and killed in a sensitive area of Nîmes in January 2023.
