The Cinturato All Season SF3 is the latest update of the Pirelli four-season model designed for medium and compact cars, city trips and motorists who need safe equipment all year round.
The newcomer, perfected thanks to virtual development techniques, offers braking control in different climate situations.
Starting from the wet, so much so that all the sizes in the range have obtained the highest classification on the European label (class 'A') in wet grip, as well as on snow, given the 3PMSF marking which identifies tires that have passed a tested in severe winter conditions, as well as in the dry.
A versatility confirmed by the Dekra tests, which elect the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 the best in its category for combined braking and recognized by the TÜV SÜD body, which awarded it the Performance Mark thanks to its high performance in different driving situations.
From the previous product, the new Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 inherits the adaptive tread technology with 3D sipes, further perfected to provide grip on snow throughout the life of the tyre.
In fact, as the tread wears, the sipes change their shape, increasing the surface capable of capturing the snow despite the reduction in depth caused by the consumption of the rubber.
Wider grooves and sharper angles in the directional pattern also contribute to aiding walking on snow compared to the tread of the previous generation.
These features also help expel water, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.
Expanding the grooves of the tread pattern was possible thanks to the innovation of the materials that compose it.
Normally, wider grooves penalize performance in summer conditions.
The compound used in the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3, however, balances the stiffness, stability and speed of response of the tire at high temperatures.
The Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 will be available for sale starting from April 2024, in sizes from 16 to 20 inches.
Also arriving on this new product is a selection of sizes with the Elect marking, which indicates tires equipped with technological solutions that enhance the characteristics of BEV and PHEV vehicles.
