Good news while the prices of cars, especially electric cars, continue to rise: Dacia unveiled an updated version of its small electric car, the Spring, and it is planned to arrive in Israel in the last quarter of 2024.

The main change is in the passenger compartment.
The driver's environment is completely new, with better quality materials, a 7-inch screen as a dashboard as standard, and a 10-inch multimedia screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay coupling in the highest equipment level of the three possible.
The air conditioner continues to be operated with physical buttons, and that's a good thing.
There are also USB-c sockets, along with more colors than before.
What hasn't changed is the number of passengers: only four.
The original Spring received a score of only 1 out of 5 stars in the European crash test, partly because of the performance of the active safety system.
Now the Spring gets Dacia's updated system, including adaptive emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, speed warning and more, which may improve the score if tested again.
