The first fully electric Fiat 500e destined for the United States rolled off the lines of the Stellantis plant in Mirafioria Turin this week.
Fiat's first electric offering on the North American market will arrive across the Atlantic by the end of March.
“We are thrilled that the Fiat 500e has officially begun its journey to reach customers in North America,” said Olivier Francois, CEO of the Fiat brand and global marketing manager of Stellantis.
"The 500e has sold more than 185,000 units worldwide since its launch and is playing an important role in the green transition of cities around the world, continuing the brand's electrification journey."
The first batch of fully electric Fiat 500e cars at American dealers - explains Stellantis - quickly sold out.
MSRP is $32,500 with lease incentives of $7,500 plus local incentives.
The sale includes the Wall Box via Free2move Charge.
In Europe the 500e is the leader in the electric city car market.
It is first in the segment in Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium and Austria.
