The ItaliaTalent Rally restarts its engines.
The last regional selection, that of the Veneto Region, of the 10th edition of the Big Brother of motors will take place on the track at the Cave of Vittorio Veneto (TV), which has registered full registrations, who will be evaluated by a trio of examiners: Giandomenico Basso, Franco Cunico and Gigi Pirollo, all from Veneto.
The selection in the Veneto region, home of national rallying, will see, among others, the participation of 29 Under 16 members, 46 squad members (including drivers and navigators), 9 disabled people and a percentage of Under 23 members equal to 67%.
The 10th edition of ACI Rally Italia Talent, sponsored by ACI, Aci Sport and Sara Assicurazioni, still sees Suzuki as the official car that will make the Swift Sport Hybrid tires with Toyo tires available.
But this selection will also feature an important partnership with Italmondo Group and Mi-hub Agency who supported the latest selections of Aci Rally Italia Talent in anticipation of a possible collaboration also for the 11th edition of Aci Rally Italia Talent 2024.
Aci Rally Italia Talent is a sports format, organized in collaboration with Aci and ACI Sport, open to everyone, with or without racing experience, where only and exclusively the aptitude for sports driving counts, designed to offer everyone, in particular those who have never raced and also open for minors, the opportunity to make a dream come true: participating for free at least once as an official driver or navigator in a rally.
The objective, however, is not only to identify new talents to introduce into the world of motor racing, but also to raise awareness among competitors on the topic of road safety for everyday driving, to improve control of the car in every situation, training which is aimed above all at younger people and those of pre-license age.
Numerous new features: in this edition Aci Rally Italia Talent integrates the ACI Talent +14 project, strongly supported by ACI ESuzuki, which for the first time allows anyone aged 14 or over to get behind the wheel of a Swift SportHybrid equipped with dual controls and to try the thrill of driving alongside the instructors of ACI Rally Italia Talent, all great rally champions.
This initiative aims, on the one hand, to stimulate the passion for motors in young people and, on the other, to train the motorists of tomorrow, allowing them to take their first steps in a safe context and alongside international champions who will make their experience available, but above all tips for safe driving.
Another novelty, Rally Talent Ability: for the first time, thanks to the Rally Talent Ability initiative, affiliated to the ACI and recognized by CONI, people with disabilities will be able to participate, free of charge, in all phases of the ACI Rally ItaliaTalent, challenging the other competitors on equal terms thanks to a special Swift made available to them by Suzuki Italia, equipped with a particular set-up designed in collaboration with the Handytech company of Moncalvo d'Asti.
The secret of the enormous following of ACI Rally Italia Talent is well summarized by the hashtag #rallypertutti which acts as the event's slogan.
Faithful to the original format created in 2014 by Renzo Magnani, the event allows anyone, even those who have never raced, have never had a license and don't even have a driving license, to get involved and see their talent rewarded.
The only requirement required for "rittini" is to be at least 14 years old, it being understood that for minors a parental release is required.
After this last regional selection, the semi-final and the final of this 10th edition of Aci RallyItalia Talent will be played.
