A drama in the middle of the storm.
As storm Louis swept across a large part of northern France this Thursday afternoon, a man drowned in Deux-Sèvres.
While he was driving his car, it was swept away by the Chambon, a river in flood, Le Parisien learned from the gendarmerie, confirming information from France Info.
The victim, a 52-year-old man, died of drowning.
