Dodge Europe has announced that it will support the WorldSBK Championship as the official car and official safety car for the 2024 season. The collaboration puts the American brand in direct connection with the world of sports competitions in the two-wheel category for the first time.
For the collaboration, Dodge will provide a fleet of five high-performance vehicles featuring a total look 'SBK' livery specifically designed for the partnership.
Two Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcats, powered by the 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine that delivers 717 hp, will serve as the Official Safery Cars of the competition.
A Dodge Durango SRT, with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that delivers 475 HP, and a Dodge Durango Hellcat SUV, with a 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine that delivers 710 HP, will be the official cars of the race direction and the FIM safety manager.
The American brand will also have a leading role during the award ceremonies after each race, because Dodge will be present on the top step of the podium and through 'product on track' with billboards, with a third Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye as a static Expo Car , present next to the podium.
