Volkswagen launches the new Tiguan in the Old Continent, now in its third generation and totally renewed;
the price list, in Italy, starts from 39,700 euros.
A newly developed adaptive chassis called DCC Pro features a renewed design in both the front and rear areas, a muscular side and boasts a Cd that has dropped from 0.33 to 0.28.
Lots of technology on board, including a parking system that allows you to enter and exit the parking area automatically, even remotely, via smartphone.
Furthermore, it borrows the new HD Matrix IQ.LIGHT LED headlights and the massage function for the front seats from the Touareg.

The passenger compartment is characterized by digital instruments and a 12.9-inch infotainment display, which can reach up to 15 inches.
There is also a renewed head-up display, as well as a new multifunction rotor for the driving experience with integrated TFT LCD display.
Furthermore, the IDA voice assistant will also be able to access ChatGPT, following an update.
In terms of engines, the new 204 HP and 272 HP plug-in hybrid power units now feature a 19.7 kWh battery, which replaces the previous 10.6 kWh battery, for an autonomy that rises from approximately 60km to about 100km in electric mode.
While charging also takes place from direct current columns and accepts a maximum power of 50 kW.
The 48 V mild hybrid variants, with the 4-cylinder 1.5 turbo, however, deliver 130 HP and 150 HP respectively and are equipped with an ACT automatic cylinder management system.
There is no shortage of turbo petrol engines, not available in Italy, and two turbodiesel engines with 2 power levels: 150 HP to 193 HP.
Three trim levels will be available in Italy: Life, Elegance, and R-Line.
With the Life version which features, as standard equipment, the Air Care Climatronic 3-zone automatic climate control;
the automatic cruise control ACC;
and Park Assist Plus for automated parking.
The Edition Plus special edition, specific for the Italian market, adds to the Tiguan Life's equipment, among others, metallic paint, Keyless Entry & Go, boot with electric opening and closing, performance LED headlights with dynamic cornering light and 3D rear windows with animation, tinted rear windows and anti-theft device.
