i20N.

Almost 50 were delivered, even though it's a Super Mini manual at a Tucson price/Walla system!, Audi Etzion

This may be a slight hit in the wing from the point of view of the Hyundai importer as a car, but another step on the way to the disappearance of gasoline engines and the transition to pollution-free, quiet, and thrill-free transportation.

Half a year after the launch of Hyundai's sporty N models in Israel, the Korean manufacturer announced that starting in February, the production of the super mini hot i20N and the sporty compact i30N for the European market will cease.

This is in preparation for the launch of the first electric N on the continent, the Ionique N5, and other electric N models on the way.

The marketing of both models in other markets, such as Australia, will continue.

The pollution regulations of the European Union dictate to the manufacturers compliance with challenging requirements for the average air pollution from the models they sell in the countries of the Union, a deviation from which obliges them with heavy fines.

Both the i20N and i30N significantly exceed these pollution requirements.

Why

is the European standard accepted in Israel, alongside the American one, but both models have never been marketed in the US. Kalmobil's move stood out against the background of a constant reduction in the import of sporty versions of the popular brands, whether due to the cessation of their production in Europe, or due to the importers' decision not to offer them in Israel.

We'll miss the N models?

The i20N is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 204 hp, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and connected to the front wheels between which there is a limited-slip differential. There is also a reinforced body, lowered shock absorbers, hardened and with a different geometry, and with thicker stabilizer bars, a steering wheel Faster and bigger brakes. 0-100? in 6.2 seconds. It was launched in Israel at a price of NIS 176,000, and is now sold for NIS 183,000.

Since the launch, 47 cars of the model have entered the roads of Israel.

The i30N has undergone a similar improvement, and even received a control Launch. It comes with a 2-liter engine with a capacity of 280 hp, and unlike a single shipment that arrived in Israel in the past with a 6-speed manual transmission, it is now equipped with a dual-clutch robotic automatic transmission, with 8 gears.

0-100 km/h? In 5.4 seconds. The i30N was launched at a price of NIS 270,000, which has not become more expensive so far.

Since the launch, 8 automatic i30Ns have been registered at the licensing office.
