He has been on trial since last week at the Bouches-du-Rhône assizes, in Aix-en-Provence, for a triple homicide dating back to 2016. Suspected of being one of the authors of one of the deadliest score-settling that year in Marseille, this 27-year-old accused was attacked at the Aix-Luynes penitentiary center.
Around 4 p.m. on Sunday, on the eve of his second week in the dock, the detainee was stabbed four times during the walk, a police source tells us.
His vital prognosis is not in jeopardy, but he was hospitalized under police surveillance.
According to his initial statements, the victim, Lenny Albarello, nicknamed “Bobotte”, was attacked by five individuals.
But the man did not give further details.
The identity of the perpetrators, as well as the reasons for their actions, were not yet known.
His partner, an “influencer”, would call for revenge on social networks.
The Bouches-du-Rhône interdepartmental judicial police service (SIPJ 13) is in charge of the investigation.

He is currently hospitalized,” confirmed the president of the Assize Court when the hearing resumed on Monday, quoted by La Provence.
“Contrary to rumor, he is not dead and his life is not in danger.
But doctors concluded that his condition was incompatible with a court appearance.

The victim and two other accused were on trial there until March 1 for organized gang murder and attempted organized gang murder.
All three are suspected of being the authors of a dramatic settling of scores that occurred on April 2, 2016, in the Bassens city (Marseille, 15th century).
Armed individuals opened fire near the neighborhood's general food supply: three men aged 21, 30 and 31 died.
This settling of scores would be revenge linked to the death of “Bobotte’s” brother, killed in December 2021. Two of the victims from 2016 had been implicated in this case without ever being prosecuted, indicates Le Figaro.
