Replacements at the Frisbee car importer (previously collapsed): Avi Tamir, who served for the last four years as the CEO of the car operations and Deputy CEO of the group Itzik Weitz, is retiring from his position.
Tamir will be replaced by Oren Elezra, former
CEO of Alber Leasing Company, who until now managed Frisby's leasing business.
Tamir led the rebranding of the company at a cost of tens of millions of shekels, and the promotion of its transition to digital activity, and the connection between the sale of new and used vehicles and transactions He will stay there and engage in the development of new projects and ventures.
In the last two years, Carso has successfully launched the import of the Chinese Cherry and Xpeng models.
Chery's Tigo 8 became the 7th best-selling car in Israel, and the entire brand sold over 11,000 vehicles already in its first year in Israel.
But its old brands, Renault and Nissan, struggled more against the other Koreans and Japanese.
Before joining Carso two years ago, Elezra served as the CEO of Elbar for eight years, during which the company became one of the two largest leasing and rental companies in Israel. Since then, he completed the merger of Cal Auto and Lis Four You, which made Frisby one of the largest companies in the field in Israel.
