The body of the victim was discovered during an evening in August 2022 lying in an alley, not far from Place des Amaryllis, in the Moulins district of Nice (Alpes-Maritimes).
This 20-year-old young man has just died from two bullets from a semi-automatic pistol which hit him in the chest and leg.
Near him lie seven 9 mm caliber cases.
Almost two years after this homicide, very quickly considered as yet another crime committed as part of the drug trafficking which is rampant in Les Moulins, three men have just been indicted, announced this Monday the public prosecutor of Nice, Damien Martinelli .
The investigation quickly showed that this homicide was linked to a war between “several teams” who competed for the management of “the Laundromat”.
This deal point, “one of the most profitable” in the Moulins district, could generate between 15,000 and 20,000 euros per day before its dismantling in November 2023 by the Nice police and Italian carabinieri.
One of them under judicial supervision
Searches were carried out during this vast operation and a major seizure: 186 kg of cannabis resin, 9 kg of cannabis herb and 900 g of cocaine, 125,815 euros in cash, four semi-automatic pistols, two watches luxury, fourteen vehicles including two large displacement vehicles, beacons, a wave jammer and narcotics packaging equipment.
In the homicide aspect of the Laverie affair, five men, aged 19 to 34, all known to the courts, just like the victim, were arrested last Monday and Tuesday by the criminal brigade.
Only three of them were indicted for organized gang murder.
One of those indicted was placed under judicial supervision, the two others in pre-trial detention.
