Two months ago, Seinfeld's wife, Jessica Seinfeld, wrote a post on Instagram in which she summarized her and her husband's emotional visit to Israel following the October 7 massacre.

"We wanted to see with our own eyes the results of the October 7 attack. We saw houses where families were tortured, shot, shelled and burned alive. We stood in the area where hundreds of boys at a music festival were murdered and kidnapped. As painful as it was to be in these places, what I will remember most of all is the people we met in Israel . Heroes who saved thousands of lives. Young people from New York who came to work on farms to replace those who went out to fight against Hamas. Hostages who were released and kidnapped families who are still traumatized but still want to help. Extraordinary people who came together to provide emergency aid through civil service."

"This was my fifth visit to Israel, and I have never seen a more united country," she added.

"People from all walks of life, from wounded soldiers to families of peace activists whose mothers, fathers or brothers were murdered or are still being held captive in Gaza. The horror of October 7 mimics divisions within Israel. Everyone united for a higher goal - to defeat Hamas, to build a better and safer Israel, And a better and safer world."
