The family members of Amit Buskila, who was abducted to the Gaza Strip from a Nova party in Yishuv Ra'im on October 7, asked not to broadcast her audition in the new season of "MasterChef" on request 12. This was first published by Eran Suisa in "Israel Hayom".
Buskila auditioned for the program last summer and did not qualify for the meeting with the judges.

Shimon, Amit's uncle, added: "We are fighting for her return and for all the abductees. The mobilization of the police warmed our hearts and moved us. They left in a convoy, passed through the neighborhood and entered the house. They hugged and strengthened us, they released balloons from the mobiles. It just moved us and we know each other Thanks to them for the moving act. It is not easy to celebrate a birthday without a colleague. Every year we celebrate her together, the extended family and friends. The feelings are hard, she is with us in our hearts and we believe she also feels us."
